Imagined West is my primary photography project, sharing a soulful view of the West of our imaginations. Expression and connection to the subject are paramount. Often in mind is a questioning of the symbols that represent the American West for each and all of us. I began photography in the late 1970s using an Argus 35mm rangefinder and then a Nikon FM (fully manual) through the 1980s, into the 1990s in the wilds of southern Utah.
